SOCAL CAPTAINS
Captain Sawyer was first at sea at the age of 17 and has served on HMS Ark Royal along with other front line ships.
By the age of 23 Captain Sawyer had circumnavigated the globe 5 times and his ocean-going sea service has included the Atlantic, Pacific, Indian, Southern and Artic Oceans and he has berthed in countless ports of call in over 23 different countries.
Since Captain Sawyers Honorable discharge from the Navy he has continued gaining sea time on many vessels and totals 50 years of Maritime experience.

Captain Sawyers active service saw him face many marine shipboard and weather related emergencies and he has always remained calm under fire and he is never sick at sea.
Captain Sawyer is experienced with many types of vessels, from large ships down to small cruisers and he has hands on knowledge of single, duel and triple screw vessels with and without thrusters and he has worked with “Z” drive and large jet propulsion systems.
Captain Sawyers many years afloat and his extensive experience with computer and marine engineering has given him a unique set of maritime skills that has prepared him for all eventualities at sea.
